Professor Ashoka Jahnavi Prasad is a medical academic also holding doctorates in philosophy, history and natural sciences, plus a Chartered Mathematician and a Chartered Biologist. He is also a trained barrister and holds a Masters in Law and another in Business Administration. The medical condition, "Prasad's Syndrome" is named after him. Author of over 100 books and 500 papers, he has been identified as' the most educationally qualified person on the planet' by several books and conferred honorary doctorates. He has also served on the Board of the Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Shimla, the apex body for humanities.
