Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh Kumar Behera, an academician and researcher with over twenty one years of teaching experiences in different colleges under Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, India, is promoting scholars and research. He is involved in various student design projects and has co-authored many national seminars, workshops and conferences in various fields of engineering and technology. He has received his B.Tech. from OUAT, Bhubaneswar & Master's degree from IIEST (formerly Bengal Engineering and Science University, Howrah) and Ph. D from Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha, India. He has received eight best paper presentation awards in different national & international conferences. Also, he received Best Institutions Award and Young Scientist Award from Institutions of Engineers (India), Bhubaneswar chapter for his pioneering research work in the year in 2021 and Best research scholar award from the university during his Ph.D. He has published more than 20 research articles in international peer reviewed journals and also holds 11 Indian and foreign patents including Indian, German, UK and Australian patents. Till today he has published 3 text books for engineering students and 1 conference book for researchers. Presently, he is working a project with Forestry Department, Govt. of Odisha of cost 1.05 lakhs. Previously, he was worked as Professor and Dean (R&D) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Aryan Institute of Engineering and Technology, Bhubaneswar and Professor and head in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Krupajal Engineering College, Bhubaneswar. Presently he is working as vice-principal in VITS Engineering College, Khurda, Odisha, INDIA. He is expert in Materials Production and Design. His area of interest is in composite material production and processing. He has published many papers and doing several research works on powder metallurgy. He has been awarded different medals for his innovations in production of aluminium alloy as well as composites.
