Kartik Uniyal (M.Sc.; Ph. D.) is working as Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Biochemistry & Biotechnology at Sardar Bhagwan Singh University, Balawala, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He has obtained his Masters in Biotechnology from Hemvati Nandan Bahuguna Garhwal University Campus, Srinagar Garhwal and Doctor of Philosophy from Forest Research Institute, Deemed to be University, Dehradun. Since then he is continuously engaged in academics and research particularly in biotechnology, microbiology, plant pathology and molecular biology as relevant by his research work, presentations in National and International Seminars/ Conferences, Research articles and supervision of Master’s dissertation work. He has been awarded ESDA Young Scientist Award in 2022 for contribution in field of Forest biotechnology at 3rd World Environment Summit, V.P. Chest Institute, University of Delhi (North Campus).
