Ms. Savita Shrikant Deokar is a PhD research Scholar of Savitribai Phule University, Pune, Department of Pharmaceutics. She is a recipient of fellowship from Maharashtra Government. She has over 15 years experience in Pharmaceutical Industry in R&D (Formuation Dept.), Neutraceuticals and 5 years of academic teaching and research. She pursued B.Pharm (2001) from Bharati Vidyapeeth Pune and M.Pharm (2016) from University of Pune. She has guided 3 M.Pharm students. She has 2 Indian patent (filed and published), and several research publications to her credit. At present the author is working as Assistant Professor at Pimpri Chinchwad University (School of Pharmacy), Vadgaon, Sate Maval, Pune Maharashtra, India.
