Dr. M. ChithiraiSelvan is a devoted teacher in the field of commerce at NallamuthuGounderMahalingam College, Pollachi for over 20 years. He completed his Post-Graduate M.Com. degree at NGM College in 2001. He obtained MBA from Bharathidasan University, Tirchirappalli, hisM.Phil. from Madurai Kamaraj University, Madurai, and his Ph.D. from the Department of Commerce, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. He cleared NET exam conducted by UGC, New Delhi. His area of interest is Finance and HR. He has organised a number of workshops and seminars to ensure the wellbeing of the students. To his credit, he has successfully mentored 7 Ph.D. and 12 M.Phil. scholars. He authored three books, published more than 50articles at National and International refereed journals and presented 58 papers in various Conferences and Seminars. He has evaluated thirteen articles for Sage journals. He is a fellow member in Indian Academic Researchers Association, a life-time professional member in Institute of Scholars (InSc) – International Journal of Management and Social Studies, and a life member in the Madras Library Association, Madras. Recently, he received a smart inspirer award 2022-23 from the iNet Technologies Computer Education Centre, Pollachi. Presently, he is the Associate NCC Officer in the College.
