Dr Onkholun Haokip is a professional Social Worker. He completed Master of Social Work from Indira Gandhi National Tribal University and Ph.D from Assam University, Silchar. He had hands on experience in various development project and youth empowerment while working in remote tribal areas in Jharkhand, Vidharbha and slum areas in Delhi.
