Dr. Manjula Kola is a Professor, who teaches Food Science, Nutrition, and Food Technology in the Department of Home Science. She is the recipient of the State Best Teacher Award in 2023 from the Government of Andra Pradesh and the APCOST best scientist award in the field of Food Technology in 2020 from the Government of Andra Pradesh. She has 24 years of teaching and research experience and published 64 research papers, three books, and 16 chapters. She developed e-content for e-PG patashala, UGC. She completed five research projects and holds five patents. Thrust areas of her research are Food processing, Food product development, Functional and Designer foods along with the interdisciplinary approach of functional biopolymers
