Maria Leena christina.D, born in a middle class Tamil Christian family, daughter of P.M.Maria Dass and Maria Rose. She is a native of Bangalore and is a multilingual. She holds Masters Degree in American Literature from Mother Teresa women's University, Kodaikanal. M.Phil from Mission Vinayaka University, Salem. Currently pursuing her Ph.d in English literature. She has 12 years of teaching experience, worked in Esteemed Institutions of Bangalore. Trust Stabbed Brutally is her first book published and is based on a real story, of her friend and highlights the poignant stages of a women, who falls a prey for her love and is being deceived with empty promises and broken unconditionally, it also speaks of the depth of emotion insult and despair and suggests how society would look at her state. Yet she celebrates her struggle with resilience and courage.
