Nirmal Rathore is an established author, she has been writing for various magazines and periodicals. Her 1st book Rendezvous with Life, a Journey through Time was published by Partridge India, a unit of Penguin in 2014. She is an Artist and loves to paint during her leisure time. She has held number of exhibitions including one inaugurated by the then Home Minister Mr Sushil Kumar Shinde. She is married to a Military Officer and currently lives in a Palatial Castle, designed and decorated by her named Castle Oodeypore. She has a live gallery of her Art work at the Castle. She also hosts guests at her Castle as a Boutique Castle stay.
