Dr. Raj Srivastava is an Honors Graduate in Physics and holder of a Masters degree in Astronomy and' Astrophysics from Delhi University. He had left for USA in 1967 where he carned Masters degree in Physics from Georgia University and Ph.D. in Geophysics from Geophysical Institute, Alaska. He had a very broad and distinguished academic career covering a wide range of disciplines in physical sciences, engineering and technology. Acknowledged for his works in Science and Technology, he had won the 'Distinguished Leadership Award' from the American Biographical Institute in 1999. A true multi- disciplinarian, he had begun his researches in Radio Asronomy during the early sixties followed by solar and Stellar Physics and then going on to Ionospheric Physics during the seventies. He undertook Magnetospheric, Upper Atmospheric and Auroral studies during the mid seventies. However, his researches moved on to Solar Energy for Rural Development, Sustainability, Energy Services and Cosmological Studies from the early eighties to the early part of this century. Since 2005, he had kept himself occupied with a Family Trust known as "sGReuTfra " educating the rural folks and supplying energy gadgets to the villagers in remote areas of Uttarakhand, India. However, since the outbreak of COVID-19 in early 2020, he had taken upon himself the task of Predictive Hypothesis.
