Dr. Sonteni Srinivas, Ph.D., is the Chief Librarian at the Fathima Institute of Medical Sciences, Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh. He has worked as a librarian in different educational institutions since 1997. He has obtained a B.Sc. (Biological Sciences) from Andhra University, an M.Sc. (Zoology) from Acharya Nagarjuna University, and an M.L.I. Sc. & M. Phil, from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, M.A. (Public Administration) from Acharya Nagarjuna University, and PGDLAN from the University of Hyderabad. He has obtained a Ph.D. (Full-time) in Library and Information Sciences from the Central University of Tamil Nadu, Thiruvarur. He qualified for UGC-NET in 2013 and AP-SET in 2014. His areas of interest are Electronic Information Resources, Online Electronic Resources (OERs), Green Libraries, and Academic Libraries. He has over 10 research publications in national and international journals and conferences. He has published three book chapters in national and international books. He has attended more than 50 conferences/workshops/seminars at the national and international level. He has been a lifetime member of various professional bodies, viz., KHASLA, SALIS, ALSD, and DLA. He has been awarded the best teacher by the Research Foundation of India, Orissa.
