Dr.Suantak Kamsonlian is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering, Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh, India. He received his Ph.D in Chemical Engineering from IIT Roorkee, India. He did his B.Tech (Chemical Engg.) from Kerala University in 2005 and M.Tech (Industrial Safety and Hazards Management) from IIT Roorkee in 2007. His academic achievements include the publication of over 30 research papers in reputed journals and the presentation of more than 25 research papers at both national and international conferences. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Young Researcher award in a national competition at the YRC conference in 2011, held at ICT, Mumbai. He was also nominated for the Young Scientist title in the same year. Prior to his academic career, he accumulated two years of professional experience as a Safety Auditor at Cholamandalam MS Services Pvt. Ltd. in Chennai. He is actively engaged in various projects funded by organizations such as TEQIP, SERB DST, CPCB, UP-CST and other agencies. His distinguished achievements extend to receiving both national and international patents in his field of research. His areas of expertise and interest encompass Environmental Science and Engineering, Industrial Hazard and Safety Management, Wastewater Treatment, Electrochemistry, Biochemical Engineering, and the Design and Optimization of Chemical Processes. He has also played a crucial role in the academic community, serving as a reviewer for numerous international journal papers and participating as a keynote speaker and resource person at various international and national conferences and programs.
