Dr. T. Kiran Kumar is a Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at the prestigious K.S.R.M. College of Engineering (Autonomous) in Kadapa, A.P. He has 25 years of experience teaching in a variety of capacities, including Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. Water Resources Engineering, Irrigation & Hydraulic Structures, Fluid Mechanics, Hydrology, Design & Drawing of Irrigation Structure, etc. are some of his areas of expertise. In 1994, he earned his Bachelor of Technology from K.S.R.M College of Engineering under S.V. University in Tirupati, and in 1998, he earned his M.Tech from JNTU University in Hyderabad. In 2012, he earned a doctorate of philosophy in water resources engineering. from JNTU Ananthapur A.P. He has so far published over 65 papers in journals, international and national conferences. He participated in over 20 workshops and gave guest lectures on a range of subjects. He mentored PhD, M. Tech, and B. Tech students. In 2020, he was given the NPTEL Believers Award. The A.K.S. Education Awards have given him the Best Global Teacher Award for 2022. Dr.T.Kiran Kumar earned the BEST ENGINEER AWARD for his distinguished services from the Institute of Engineers (INDIA) Kadapa local center on the occasion of Engineer's Day in the year 2023.
