Basic Information

Dr. Vikas Patil is native from Walki, District Jalgaon Maharashtra (India). He has completed primary education from his native and moved for further high school to tehsil town Chopda where he completed his B. Se in chemistry from Art's, Science, Commerce College Chopda. He completed his M. Se. From Pratap College Amalner in 2006. Further he worked one year in Calyx Pharmaceutical Mumbai as research associate in R & D. In year 2007 he enrolled for his Ph D course at Institute of Chemical Technology Mumbai (then UDCT Mumbai). He graduated in 2012 from ICT Mumbai and joined as post-doctoral research fellow on Indo-US Science and Technology Forum joint center po thin film and nanostructure coatings. He also worked at University at Buffalo, a State University of New York as Post-Doctoral Visiting Scholar. In 2016 he joined at School of Chemical Sciences North Maharashtra University as Young Scientist on DST Fastrack project. In year 2018 he joined at UGC Assistant Professor at University Institute of Chemical Technology, KBC North Maharashtra University Jalgaon. He has published over 45 International publications and has 4 book chapters to his credit. He also completed three major research projects mobilized around 70 Lakh of grant from various funding agencies. He also worked as consultant for chemical industries specifically dyes industry. Currently his research interest is generation of feedstock chemicals and polyfunctional dyes from agricultural waste.
