Working with clients and patients, particularly pediatric oncology children, has been a transformative experience for me. It has opened my eyes to the realities of life and profoundly changed me for the better. As I helped, guided, and counseled my clients and patients, I discovered that I was not only assisting them but also gaining invaluable insights and personal growth. Recognizing the power of helping and guiding people, I pursued advanced degrees in social work, culminating in a doctoral degree. Over the course of my twenty-six years of practice, I have had the privilege of counseling hundreds of clients, including cancer patients and their families. Witnessing their gratitude for the support they received, I have been profoundly grateful for the reciprocal relationship we formed.
