I congratulate Dr. Poonam Rani and Dr. Amrita Kumari on the launch of their book titled 'India @75: Research and Development'. It's a perfect culmination of their efforts and hardwork put in by them in the research and development of the topic that has led to the publication of this book.

The timing of the book is in perfect sync with '75 years of Amrit Mohatsav'. This book delves deep into the achievements made by India since past 75 years after her independence and the factors that have led to her growth and development.

I feel highly honoured on being given the opportunity to write a preface to this outstanding achievement.
