I have made the humble effort of writing this book, with an aim to provide the basic knowledge about the myofibroblasts and its associated oral lesions, which includes to identify the role and pathophysiology of different lesions within the oral tissue also classifying them. As, Oral Pathology represents the basic science in dentistry, the thorough understanding can certainly bring amelioration of disease entity. Hence, identification of factors within the tissues helps to change the function of myofibroblasts to cause pathology, these tissues to be located under the microscope, which certainly provide to attain accurate diagnosis of any pathological condition, therefore guide the clinician in deciding the proper treatment plan.
