TEXT BOOK ON INVESTMENT LAW –SECURITIES

Investment law refers to the body of rules and regulations that govern investment activities of a Country. It can be divided into international investment law which covers the legal framework that regulates investments across national borders. On the other hand, national investment law pertains  to  a  country's  laws  and  regulations   governing investments within its territory.  There can also be sub-national investment law which refers to local or regional investment laws and regulations. Investment law specifically aims to balance the rights and obligations of investors, states, and other stakeholders, promoting a stable and favourable investment climate. The very role plaid by investment law is that which regulate and safe guard investor’s right, ensuring fair treatment and protection from expropriation or unfair practices. The very existence of well-defined investment law enhances rule of law which demonstrate a country's commitment to fair trade which always raises the very confidence of investors. 

I am much pleased to pen to congratulate and introduce the book, ‘Text Book on Investment Law - Securities’ authored by Dr Suranya S. Kumar and Dr Biju Antony Thekkanath for I am an academician in many legal realms and blessed to be the principal of the college where one among the authors is a law faculty.  The law is complicated and confusing and the authors have taken much efforts to make the subject easy, is quite commendable. Every page of the book professionally simplifies investment law to its readers. 

The authors no doubt made the job of the learners, investors and practitioners remarkably easy with professional touch.
