Thermodynamics has become part and parcel of our life. Whether travelling in a vehicle sitting comfortably in an AC room or enjoying the cold drink from the refrigerator, you will observe the application of thermodynamics almost everywhere directly or indirectly. Thermodynamics is a study of relation between heat and work on material bodies. Although there are many books on the subject thermodynamics, this book is tailor-made to meet the requirements of Mechanical Engineering students and also to enable even an average student to understand the subject easily.
