Lush Echoes

LUSH ECHOES, a radiant anthology of 60 poems, is a kaleidoscope of the heart’s deepest stirrings—love’s tender allure, the ache of sorrow, the fire of passion, and the gentle embrace of warmth. Crafted across moments scattered through time, each poem is a shimmering fragment of my soul, born from emotions as varied as the seasons. They emerge like cryptic whispers from the depths of my subconscious, carrying intuitive premonitions or fleeting insights that often elude my full grasp. At times, these forebodings weave themselves into reality, yet I stand powerless to alter their course—a poignant, almost mystical paradox, beautiful in its untamed futility.

These verses seem to possess a life of their own, as if I am merely a conduit for their voice, a humble vessel channeling wisdom far grander than my own. There is a sacred alchemy in this act of creation, where ordinary words transcend their mundane origins to become hallowed offerings, transforming the everyday into a cathedral of meaning. My poems pulse with a spirit bolder, more vivid, and more expressive than I could ever claim to be. To commit them to the page is to bare my soul in an act of exquisite vulnerability, each line a delicate thread of my inner world unfurled. In writing, I surrender to the flow of my heart, inviting you, dear reader, to weave your own truths into the tapestry of my words.

As Emily Dickinson so eloquently mused, “A word is dead when it is said, some say. I say it just begins to live that day.” I am no scholar of poetry, nor do I write with grand philosophical intent. Yet, the act of creation is as intrinsic to me as breathing. Words cascade into my mind unbidden, like long-forgotten memories surfacing in quiet moments—whether I am at rest, immersed in work, or lost in stillness. Poetry is my liberation, a sacred release for the emotions and thoughts that swirl within, clearing space in my heart and soul. A stray lyric from a song might spark a line, or
 
a surge of feeling—be it joy or even anger—demands to be distilled into something sharp, evocative, and true.

I leave my poems unadorned, without commentary, trusting you to uncover their essence through their subtle wordplay and allusions. My deepest hope is that these verses resonate with you, becoming mirrors to your own experiences, shaped by the unique lens of your perspective.
