Greek Philosophy: Sophists to Aristotle

The purpose of this book is to benefit the students of today’s competitive exams where they can get knowledge on “Greek philosophy- Sophist to Aristotle”. Here, in this book I made a humble attempt to explain different Greek philosophers from sophist to Aristotle.
          
 Greek philosophy in the history of philosophy shows that it was not only an introduction but a mature and all round discussions to philosophical problems. The Greeks made an original contribution to almost all the fields of thinking. The Philosophers of ancient Greece have propounded almost every type of Philosophical thought in the history of philosophy.
       
With an experience of teaching this subject for more than 25 years, the author has tried to make this book an all round non-fiction book suitable to quench the thirst for knowledge as well to achieve success in examination like CUET, NET etc. Topics and sub-topics in the elaboration of every chapter have been arranged with an eye on the type of questions actually asked in the examination.
