Dr. Jayaprada Mahapatra is presently serving as a lecturer in history in Paramananda College, Bolgarh, in the District of Khorda,Odisha. Prior to the present assignment, she was serving as lecturer in history in Nayagarh (autonomous) College, Nayagarh,Odisha. Ms Mahapatra had gained the teaching experience of 9(nine)years in undergraduate classes. She graduated from Raghunath Samabaya Mahavidyalay, Odagaon in the dist of Nayagarh and went on to receive her M. A and MPhil from the Berhampur University, specializing in Modern Indian History. She obtained Ph.D degree in history from Berhampur University in 2021.Ms Mahapatra had gained the teaching experience of 9(nine)years in undergraduate classes. Her research interests on 'Life of Tribal Women in South Odisha' avail her opportunity to study and analysis the life of downtrodden tribal women. She had the good fortune of participating and presenting papers in several national and international seminars organised by Indian History Congress, Odisha History Congress and others academic bodies of repute.
