Dr. Veena S Jadhav, working as a professor in Department of Family Resource Management, College of Community Science, University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad. She has Thirty years of service in various cadres such as Assistant professor, Associate professor, Professor, Ilead of the Department and University IIead for the Department of Family Resource Management. She worked as a Principle Investigator for University Staff Research projects and at presently serving as a Principle Investigator for the project sanctioned under DST, SEED, SCSP, STI, Government of India, New Delhi with a approved budget of Rs. 82,54,200. She guided 6 PhD and 8 MSc students as a Chairman and 30 member of Advisory committee for 30 students. She visited Malaysia, Srilanka and Singapore as a lead speaker and presented research papers. She has more than 40 research papers in her credit of National and International recognition and attended many National and International conference, workshops and trainings. She has developed technologies viz., Herbal Seed Extracts for Control of House Dust Mites, tubers and underexploited flowers. She has been nominated as a member of BOS in Mysore University, and nominated as an Expert for Doctoral committee and also nominated as a expert in the selection committee for the post of professor at Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu and she has She has received awards like SRES Excellence in Teaching Award, Scientist of the year Award, Incentive Award and Women Scientist so on.
