Dr. Sujata Bali is Sr. Associate Professor at UPES School of Law, Dehradun, India. She has more than 15 years of teaching and research experience. She was Senior Research Fellow (UGC) at the Department of Law, Himachal Pradesh University, Summer Hill, Shimla, India, where she completed her Ph.D. (Law). She has a Master of Law (LL.M.), a specialisation in Corporate Law and Governance (including International Business Law) from NALSAR university of law, Hyderabad. Her areas of specialization are law, teaching pedagogy, legal research, corporate governance and banking laws. She also has a keen research interest in law for marginalized, women's rights, child rights and environmental concerns. She has to her credit, 21 research publications, 2 consultancies and 23 paper presentations.
