Our team

Nanjesh Bennur is an accomplished academician, researcher, author, and technology entrepreneur from Karnataka, holding a B.E. in Information Science and Engineering and an M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from VTU, and currently pursuing his PhD. With over a decade of teaching and research experience, his core expertise lies in parallel computing and image processing, with 26+ research publications in reputed international journals and conferences including IEEE, Elsevier, and Springer, along with multiple patents and copyrights granted in India, Australia, and Canada. He has received major research funding, including a ₹20 lakh VGST grant from the Government of Karnataka, and is the author of several widely adopted textbooks in computer science. Beyond academia, he is the Managing Director of Selfypage Developers Pvt Ltd, a publishing and technology startup that has published 3000+ book titles and built a community of 40,000+ users, earning national recognition as “Best Book Publisher – 2022.” He also served in key elected leadership and social service roles, including Karnataka State Committee Member (CSE Division) of the Institution of Engineers (India), Director of the Indian Red Cross Society, Chikkamagaluru District, and Chairman of the District Youth Red Cross. He was also a defeated MLC candidate from the South West Teachers’ Constituency of Karnataka. He obtained the Seminar Winner Award at the CSI Meet in 2013 and received the International Award 2018 for Academic Performance & Research Activities conferred by JARBEST Scientific Publishers (Asia Pacific) in April 2019. He was also featured in Outlook Magazine in 2025 under the title “Architect of Ethical and Global Academic Publishing.”
