Dr. M.Abareethan renders his service in the field of teaching almost two decades. He published seven research articles in peer reviewed Journals and regularly involves in peer reviewing process. Web of Science (Researcher ID AAP-9005-2021) recognized him for peer reviewing and mentoring. He is an Active Life Member of Professional Associations like Probiotic Association of India (PAI), Environmental Mutagen Society of India (EMSI), National Geographical Society (NGS).He is selected as a resource person by Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) ,TNSCST and DIET for various Training Programmes for teachers.The Author had Completed his Ph.D., Zoology from Bharathidasan University,Trichy. He did his Post graduation from Pondicherry Central University, Pudhucherry. He Graduated from Bishop Heber College,Trichy and his Schooling from St.John’s Vestry Anglo Indian Hr.Sec.School,Trichy. He Cleared GATE Exam and Qualified UGC-CSIR National Eligibility Test.His recent participation and Completion of various online modules in the learning platforms like COL,Open Learn, Publon and OER fetch him few Digital Badges helping in Teaching in a Digital Age to  cater the needs of maximum beneficiaries. His outstanding contributions were recognized by the Awards like Book Lover Award ,Kalvi sevai Thilagam Award etc.
