Prof. Abhigyan Bhattacharjee Prof. Abhigyan Bhattacharjee did his Bachelor of Commerce and Education, Masters of Commerce, and PhD from Gauhati University and LLB from NEHU. He is also an Alumnus of IIM, Ahmedabad. He has been the recipient of ICSSR Fellowship (N.E.Region) for PhD in 2007 from ICSSR, New Delhi. Presently he is serving as a Professor and Head in the Department of Management, North-Eastern Hill University, Tura Campus, Meghalaya with additional charge of the Placement & Counselling Cell of the Campus. He is also In-charge of the E-Cell. He has produced 10 PhD scholars thus far and another 6 PhD scholars are pursuing research under him. He has authored 5 books and has more than 50 published papers in various national and international refereed indexed journals. He has participated in more than 50 national and international seminars/conferences and acted as keynote speaker, resource person and Chaired sessions in such platforms. He has completed 2 major research projects funded by the ICSSR, New Delhi and Govt of Meghalaya in the recent past and organized multiple national and international conferences, coordinated various FDPs, research methodology workshops, HR Conclave etc sponsored from different funding agencies including EDII, Ahmedabad ISI, Kolkata, IOCL, OIL, NABARD etc from time to time. Prof. Bhattacharjee is also a regular resource person in Prasar Bharti, Shillong and Tura, POSOCO-NERLDC, Shillong, National Productivity Council, IOCL, Bongaigaon and host of other organisations. He is also a certified trainer under the Management Entrepreneurship and Professional Skills Council, GoI and Bosch India Foundation. His interest and research include the domain areas of HR, Marketing, Indian Knowledge System, Entrepreneurship and allied disciplines.
