Abhishek N. Singh (Abi) is an 'Associate Professor of Information Systems and Business' at Schiller International University, Heidelberg, where he has been engaged in teaching several courses in the MBA as well as in BBA programs. The courses in IT are jointly organized with the University of Rochampton, London. He previously served as a faculty at Virginia Tech, USA, at the department of computer science. He holds an MBA degree in General Management/Finance from HHL Leipzig in a program which is partnered with Harvard Business School, MIT and Boston University, USA. He did Executive MBA modules from Kedge Business School, France, and has a Certificate of Diligent Study in Finance & Business' for over 50 credits from Marseille campus of Kedge BS. He also attended University of Cambridge, UK, in a PhD program where he earned a 'Certificate of Diligent Study'. He also attended Mississippi State University, USA, where he was a GRA in Doctoral program and his coursework involved advanced parallel computing, human resources and bioinformatics. He attended Business and IT courses at University of Groningen, The Netherlands. Abi was a Doctoral research visitor at Newcastle upon Tyne University and has served as a Marie Curie Experienced researcher several times in Germany. He served as a faculty of Computer Science at Virginia Tech and a Faculty of Medicine at University of Virginia. He submitted his PhD thesis at the department of computer science at Leipzig University and did three post-doctoral research work at viz., 1.A.L. Virtanen Institute, Finland, 2. Bar-Ilan University, Israel, 3. University of Toronto, Canada. He did Bachelors of Technology from IIT Delhi as well where he did three majors (total credits more than 40 in each area) 1. Computer Science & Mathematics 2. Biotechnology 3. Chemical Engineering, and he also earned credits in a Cell Biology course at Univ of New Mexico, USA, while being a member of the Electrical & Computer Engg department there jointly with IBM. He did MS (anticipated) from University of Eastern Finland with a major in 1. Computer Science & Data Science 2. Statistics and a minor in 1. Biomedicine/Pharmacy. He did his Master of Technology from IIT Delhi in the program 'Biochemical Engineering & Biotechnology. He also has some experience working in the corporate sector as he headed the data science division at Thilio, Gurugram, and was also a business developer at Granta Design, Cambridge, UK. He has over 15 years of experience and has published several papers in journals and international conferences, books & patents on his name, and he also did PGCBA and PGAIML certifications.
