AMBRAYYA MATHA, the author is from Kodaganuru, Muddebihala Tq, Bijapur Dist. Atpresent he has settled down in Nagara, Hosanagara Tq, Shivamogga Dist with his family .After completing MA in Political Science; he joined the KPCL Department and retired as Office Manager. He served in different parts of Karnataka. His special interest is Journalism, research in Historical places and studying the classics and scriptures. He has maintained a good library which consists of Historical and Literary works. As result of his deep research in history of Bidanuru Nagara , he has written many books on the Bidanuru rulers. After his retirement he is absorbed in studying and writing. He has undertaken the field works in different historical places to write historical Novels. His commitment and dedication to Karnataka History is highly commendable.He has written many books on different characters of Mahabharatha and Ramayana added to this he has written many novels on many rulers of Keladi/ Bidanuru.
