Dr. Anuranjan is presently working as Associate Professor at University Department of Geography, L.N. Mithila University, Darbhanga. He is also working as the centre coordinator Geography, Directorate Distance Education, L.N.M.U, Darbhanga.  He has started his career as Assistant Professor of Geography from C.M.J. collage, Khutauna, Madhubani in July 2003 and in August 2008 transferred to K.S. Collage, Darbhanga. In Kuwar Singh Collage, Darbhanga he worked as IQAC coordinator during NAAC peer team visit in 2017.  He is also elected as the executive member of University teachers Association in 2019.  He is the founder member of Mithila Association of Geographers and life member of National Association of Geographers, New Delhi and Association of Geographers of Bihar & Jharkhand Patna University, Patna.  Dr. Anuranjan has attended several National and International conferences, seminars & workshop. He has guided eight scholars successfully to have the award of Ph.D Degree and currently five research scholars are pursuing research work for Ph. D. He is actively engaged in writing research paper which are published in books and journals.  He has specialization in land use and Agricultural Geography.
