Dr. Binoy Kumar Medhi, in about 26 years of experience in teaching, research, and extension fronts, Professor Medhi has around 92 research publications in national and international journals, 10 research bulletins, 4 teaching manuals, 14 book chapters, 5 thesis abstracts, 22 Extension Bulletins, 2 books, 8 technologies and two national awards to his credit. He supervised 5 PhDs and 6 Masters Students besides guiding around 30 students as a member of the advisory board. He was deputed to attend 30 regional, national, and international trainings. As PI and Co-PI on 7 research projects, he is also an RS & GIS expert on a World Bank-funded project. In addition to his normal duty, Dr. Medhi served as Warden, Chief Warden, and I/C Science and Technology Cell in the office of the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor. He is also the External Expert of the Board of Post Graduate Studies of Nagaland University, Training Co-coordinator of ISRO-IIRS outreach programs, nodal officer of 7 responsible jobs representing the University.
