Dr. Biplab Kumar Saha has completed his B. Sc. (Honours) from Darrang College, Tezpur, Assam and placed 1st Class 1st position under Gauhati University in the year 1983. He has completed M. Sc. form Department of Zoology, Gauhati University, Guwahati and placed 1st Class 5th position in year 1987. He has completed Ph. D from North Eastern Hill University, Shillong in the year 2011. He is associated with several academic bodies in various capacities. He has completed online certificate courses on Genetic Engineering: Theory and Application by NPTEL, IIT, Guwahati and Human Molecular Genetics by NPTEL, IIT, Kanpur. He has been serving as a Lecturer in Zoology at Birjhora Mahavidyalaya since 1992. Prior to joining he has served Darrang College, Tezpur, Assam. At present he is Associate Professor and H. O. D, Department of Zoology, Birjhora Mahavidyalaya, Bongaigaon.
