Dr. Basavaraju Manu is currently working as Associate Professor in Department of Civil Engineering at NITK, Surathkal. He obtained his B.Tech (Civil Engineering) from MCE Hassan and M.Tech., and Ph.D. degrees from CESE, IIT Bombay. His research and teaching interests are in Environmental Engineering viz. water treatment to make it potable, wastewater treatment using Biological processes and/or AOPS for possible reuse/recycle.
