Dr.S.Boobalan is a distinguished Plant Biotechnologist. He completed his Ph.D., at K.S.Rangasamy College of Arts and Science, Tiruchengode, Affiliated with Periyar University, Salem. He worked as a Senior Research fellow in a DST-SERB Sponsored project (Govt. of India), New Delhi, India. He is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, KSRCAS, Tiruchengode, India. He is interested in research in the field of Plant tissue culture and Industrial Biotechnology. He also won Best paper and Poster Presentation Awards at various National and International conferences. He served as an Organizing Secretary and organizing committee member at various International Conferences. He has published book chapters with ISBN at National and International conferences. He also published various research articles in peer-reviewed National and International journals.
