Dr. Debojit Dey, s/o Lt.Dwijendra Kumar Dey and Lt. Bindu Basini Dey. Born in a remote village of Assam, a northeastern province, named Katlicherra. He has done extensive research on tribal history and published articles in national and international journals. The area of linguistic nationalism is his special area of research. For academic thrust he travelled length and breadth of the globe. He is also a recipient of many national and international awards.
