Dr. Dipanjali Devi did her MA in Economics with specialisation in Econometrics from Gauhati University. Devi has research experience of almost a decade. Gauhati Univesity awarded her PhD for her doctoral research on economics of health. Dr. Devi published number of research papers on diverse issues concerning economics of health, education and demography in different national and international journals and books.  Her widely acclaimed paper includes Utilization of Outpatient Healthcare Among the People of Rural Assam-A Case Study published in 2015 in Journal of Health Management (Sage  Publication).  Her research area includes health finance, maternal  health, general public health and issues concerning gender. Dr. Devi is a dedicated faculty member of Department of Economics in Dudhnoi College under Gauhati University.
