Dr. Girish V is working as Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce (UG) and also heading PG Department of Commerce, P.E.S College of Science, Arts and Commerce, Mandya, Karnataka. Earlier, he served as Faculty of Commerce in Dr.NSAM First Grade College, a unit of Nitte Education Trust and St. Claret Degree College, a unit of ClaretianMissionaries, Bengaluru. He has more than 14 years of experience in teaching Graduates and Post-Graduates. He has been found as a dedicated and committed teacher amongst his students and colleagues. He pursued his M. Com, specialized in Accounting and Taxation from Department of Commerce, Central College, Bangalore University. MBA specialized in International Business; PG Diploma in Financial Management; PG diploma in Finance and Taxation; UGC-NET both in Commerce and Management and Ph.D in the area of Panchayat Finance from University of Mysore. He is an active researcher and presented his research papers in several National and International Conferences. Many of his research papers are published in UGC-CARE listed journals. Accounting, Finance and Taxation are his areas of specialization for teaching and research. He also authored Skyward’s Financial Accounting, Advanced Financial Accounting, Indian Financial System, Banking Law and Operations for Bangalore University, Bangalore Central University and Bangalore North University.
