Basic Information

Dr. Mansi Patil, Phd is a consultant dietitian with Asha Kiran Jubilee Hope Centre Hospital Pune, India. Her focus of practice is Cardio-metabolic syndrome. She has a PhD in Environmental Sciences where her area of study was to investigate the “Risk factors of hypertension in males in a semi-urban set-up of population in Western India”. An important outcome of this research suggests that hypertension profiling of population, at least, in this region must be done at each level of healthcare interaction. She is a Visiting Faculty for Master’s programs on Public Health Nutrition offered by the Maharashtra University of  Medical Sciences (Pune Centre, India). She has introduced the unique course on Lifestyle management in hypertension under the aegis of Hypertension and Nutrition India- A core group of IAPEN India.  
Dr. Patil has been invited to many local, national and international conferences as a faculty. She has also received several prestigious awards for her researches. Her work is focused on the Preventive aspect of  Cardio~ metabolic syndrome and its epidemiology especially related to hypertension and its dietary, lifestyle and behavioural risk factors. Dr Mansi Patil has also published numerous research papers in refereed peer reviewed journals. She is currently the Editor in Chief of the quarterly newsletter~ IAPEN InSight. She has also been included under the “Women in Hypertension Spotlight” by ISH for her work in Hypertension. She has successfully lead the  India campaign of the May Measurement Month for 2017, 2018 and 2019 and screened over 2 lakh individuals for hypertension.
