Dr. Mohd Shamim Khan was born in 1977 at Balrampur (UP), Dr Mohd Shamim Khan is currently working as Senior Medical Officer-2 at Government Unani Dispensary, Kota North, Rajasthan. He was appointed as Unani Medical Officer in the Department of Unani Medicine, Government of Rajasthan in 2009.  He started his professional career as Lecturer in the Department of Moalijat, Al- Farooque Unani Medical College, Indore (MP) in 2007. He has completed Bachelor of Unani Medicine & Surgery (BUMS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Moalijat (Clinical Medicine) from Ajmal Khan Tibbiya College, Faculty of Unani Medicine, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, in 2002 and 2006 respectively. Dr Khan has conferred Ajmal-e- Azam Award-2018 by Unani Medical Officers Association Jaipur (Rajasthan), Young Scientist Award- 2019 by DK International Research Foundation, Perambalur (TN), Research Leadership Award- 2020 (International Best Researcher in Unani Medicine) by World Research Council, Trichy (TN), Research Excellence Award- 2020 by Institute of Scholars (InSc) Bangalore (Karnataka), Hakim Abdul Aziz Khan National Award- 2021 (Best Unani Physician) by Hamara Unani Research & Training Centre, Saharanpur (UP), and Hakim Yahya Miya National Award-2021(Evidence Based Research in Unani Medicine) All India Unani Tibbi Congress Jaipur (Rajasthan), in recognition of his excellence in research and clinical services,. Dr Khan has more than 17 years Clinical Experience. He has authored 02 books; Rahbar-e-Moalijat, Da-us- Sadaf, and published 39 Research papers in scientific journals of International and National repute. He has also published 58 Articles/Case Studies in Hindi News Papers. He has been associated as Editorial board member in international journals and as member with various professional societies. He has undergone several training program and has actively participated in public health programs.In addition to the presentation of research papers in international and national seminars. He has delivered 11 lectures as Resource person in state level Arogya Mela 2016 & 2019, Unani Medical Officer’s Training Program and All India Radio Talks. His medical and health related activities have been covered by print and electronic media.
