Dr. Hariswami Das was born on 17th November 1973 in a far-flung village named Lakshmipur, in the district of Dakshin Dinajpur. His father, Dr. Anil Chandra Das is the most popular teacher and a famous writer as well, having many well-settled students in the nation and abroad. And the mother of Hariswami, who is also a teacher, is an incarnation of service and sacrifice. After completing his basic education, he completed his M.Phil degree in 2005 and was awarded a Ph.D. in 2010 under the supervision of Prof. U Chakraborty, Dept. of Botany, N.B.U, titled, "Characterizations of active principles found in some ethnomedicinal plants". Papers of his research works have been published in many National and International journals. He is a great teacher, writer, and motivational speaker.
