Dr. C. Mala obtained her BE (HONS.) with University rank in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Government College of Engineering, Tirunelveli, her M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering at R.E.C..Tiruchirappalli and her Ph.D. at N.I.T., Tiruchirappalli. Her strong research interests include Computer Networks, Algorithms, Soft Computing, and Image Processing. Dr. C. Mala has around 20 years of teaching/research experience and has to her credit one Indian Patent and around 50 publications in National, International Conferences and Journals. She is currently working as the Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu.
