Dr. Amit Jhalani is an academician, researcher and an author. He works as an Assistant Professor at Swami Keshvanand Institute of Technology, Management & Gramothan, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. He has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience. His area of research interest includes alternative fuels, energy efficiency and the environment. He has formulated a newly synthesized GMD (gomutra-in-diesel) emulsion fuel for diesel engines. This work has been recognized internationally and got published in the peer-reviewed SCI/Scopus indexed journals. Dr Jhalani has published 2 patents and more than 20 research papers in various peer-reviewed SCI/Scopus indexed international journals. He has presented more than 15 research papers in various International Conferences of repute. He has delivered a number of invited talks and keynote addresses in different FDPs and Conferences. He has obtained his PhD and M.Tech. from MNIT Jaipur in the year 2020 and 2014 respectively. He was graduated in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rajasthan in 2009. He is a life member of the Institutions of Engineers (India) and the Indian Society for Technical Education. He is a regular columnist in various leading newspapers and magazines and writes for sensitizing the common people about energy and environmental issues.
