Dr. Prabha received her M.Sc. degree from D.A.V. College Jalandhar, M.Phil. and Ph. D. degree from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar. She is currently working in Kanya Maha Vidyalaya (Autonomous) Jalandhar as Assistant Professor in Zoology. Her area of interest is aquatic biology including fish diversity, water quality and cytotoxicity. Her research included ecology of River Beas with special reference to fisheries and genotoxicity in pesticides distributors of Punjab. She has published 10 research papers and book chapters. She has attended more than 16 conferences, seminar, FDPs and workshops.
