Dr. Nalini Singh Chauhan is presently working as an Assistant Professor (P.G. Department of Zoology in The Heritage and Autonomous Institute Kanya Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar). She obtained her Master’s degree from the Department of Zoology at Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India, in 2013. She received her doctorate from the same University in 2020. Her PhD research includes the effects of various compounds on insect larvae, the evaluation of vermicompost as an insect pest control measure, and the insecticidal potential of plant extracts. She has expertise in aquatic biology and entomology, with a specialization in vermitechnology, nematology, entomology, insect physiology, and biochemistry. Dr. Nalini has published more than 20 papers in peer reviewed journals, book chapters and review articles.
