Prof. Pavitra Srivastava is Head of Department of Advertising and Public Relations and Department of Cinema Studies at Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism and Communication, Bhopal. He has been active in teaching, research and academic administration for the last 25 years. He has blained Post Graduate (Cield Medalist), NET and Ph.13 degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. He has held various responsibilities like Dean Academics, Registrar and Director. Admissions and Publications at Makhanlal Chaturved: University Presently he is also the Chairman of RQAC. More than 10 researchers have cumpleted PhD under his guidance. He has published more than 50 research papers in national and international seminars and research journals. He is a member of the Board of Studies in many universities. He has travelled to Dubai, Sharjah and Nepal for the purpose of participation in academic activities. He is also the editer of "Journal of Public Relations and Advertising", an online peer reviewed research journal publishedfrom MCU. He has been awarded the Best Teacher Award by MCU.
