Dr. Vijayalakshmi Shankar born in India, has authored more than 90 scientific publications in Bioenergy, Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology field. She has various research projects funded by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and Indian Council of Medical Research, Government of India. She has strong collaborations with Universities in Australia; USA, UK, Poland, France, Italy, Germany and Denmark. She is a recipient of prestigious Kothari Fellowship by UGC, NAWA Fellowship by European Government, Women Scientist award by Department of Biotechnology, Government of India.
