Sri. M N Sundar raj is a retired English Lecturer and authored several books in Kannada and two translated books in English. He is a columnist also. His column “HiriyraHadi’ in Kannada prabha was very popular which got publishedeveryday was for six years. He was also a columnist for ‘Eeenadu’ news paperfor ten years. His famous books are DiwanPurnaiah, kuntreNintreBendre, MV, Champka – the forgotten queen of Keladi etc., He has penned more that 30books sofar. He is now the president of prestigious Karnataka SanghaShimoga. His more than 2500 articles have been published in various News papers and Magazines. Now he has translated this Kannada book ‘HiriyaVenkatappaNayaka’ of Sri Ambrayya Mutt into English.
