Dr. S. S. Choragi is the Principal of Shri Sangameshwar Arts and Commerce College, Chadchan, a leading higher educational institute in the Vijaypura district of the Karnataka State. He holds M.Com. in Costing and Taxation from the Shivaji University Kolhapur. He obtained his Ph. D. in Commerce from the Karnataka University, Dharwad in the year 2001. Dr. Choragi held various teaching and administrative positions in his 40 years long career with Shri Sangameshwar College of Arts and Commerce, Chadchan,   Vijapypura. Since  2016,  he has  been  leading  and  guiding  all the  activities  of   the  college  as  its Principal. He has been instrumental in making the college famous in the North Karnataka region by conducting various academic workshops, seminars, conference with primary focus on society and its development. He has published a number of papers in scholarly journals in the field of commerce and has delivered more than a dozen Invited Talks during the seminars and conferences conducted by various academic institutes.
