Dr. Anand M. Dodamani holds the post of Assistant Librarian in TISS, Mumbai Campus. Further, he has been working as a regular faculty in the Centre for Library and Information Management Studies in the same institute. Dr. Dodamani has a Ph.D. in Library and Information Science from Karnatak University, Dharwad. Prior to joining TISS, Dr. Dodamani has worked with the Department of Collegiate Education, Karnataka; Hashu Advani  College  of  Special  Education,  Mumbai;  Pillai's  College  of  Arts,   Commerce   and   Science,   Navi    Mumbai   and   Indira    Gandhi   Institute  of Development Research, Mumbai, in various capacities. Dr. Dodamani has a number of publications to his credit in national and international journals. In addition, he has completed two research projects funded by TISS, Mumbai and the ICSSR, New Delhi respectively. He is the recipient of the prestigious “Emerald South Asia LIS Research Fund Award (Highly Commended)” for the year 2012. Dr. Dodamani has also received the “ICSSR-NRCT Exchange of Scholars Fellowship” in the year 2017 and visited various university and public libraries in Thailand. Dr. Dodamani has delivered several Invited Talks during national level seminars and workshops. He is also serving as an elected Council Member (2019-2022) of the prestigious Indian Library Association, New Delhi.
