Prof. Bikasha C. Panda holds a B. Tech. degree in Civil Engineering from University College of Engineering, Burla (presently VSSUT, Burla), a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela and a Ph.D. degree from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. Currently he is a Professor in Civil Engineering at Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology (IGIT), Saranga, Dhenkanal, Odisha. He was a Post Doctoral Fellow at New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, Socorro, USA. His research interests are ground-bearing structures, disaster mitigation and management, and thermal insulation of buildings.
